Rat in the Wine Jar

Mood: Panic

My family keeps wine in our basement type area, and we had a bit of a rat problem. The rats chewed off the stoppers on some of the wine and some of the vinegar carboys. But the real credits/points go to the rats who not only chewed off a lid they emptied half a gallon jar and FELL IN!

We had a rat floating half way down a jar, starting to mold inside the wine! Think of the floating shit in formaldehyde then insert the words rat, and wine. It looked and smelled disgusting.
